What We Do > Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a tax-free account that an employee can use to pay for eligible non-reimbursed health care expenses. The FSA is also referred to as a “cafeteria plan." These cafeteria plans allow employees the option of a pre-tax payroll deduction for some insurance premiums, some medical expenses, and child/dependent care expenses. However, due to the “use it or lose it” feature required by law, if you do not use all the money in your account by the end of the year, the balance is forfeited.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA’s) require the employee to make a prediction every year as to how much will be spent on medical and childcare expenses.
